Lama Abdulrahman (b. 1999), I'm a Saudi artist based in Richmond, VA. Currently, pursuing my Bachelor's in Fine Arts at Virginia Commonwealth University, with a primary focus on Islamic arts. I'm dedicated to preserving and evolving traditional arts. In my pursuit to revitalize my craft, I taught Islamic geometry to the public. I have participated in many exhibitions, including the Scripts and Calligraphy exhibition sponsored by The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Culture held in Riyadh and Madinah in 2023, where I showcased one of my signature and innovative pieces, Noon, which converts Arabic calligraphy ratios to geometric construction.
