Sukoon - Tranquility

Creating a construction is the first step in making any art piece in Islamic geometry and biomorphic art with that in mind I looked at Arabic calligraphy. Thuluth Calligraphy has a specific ratio referenced in dots to draw the Arabic letters with specific proportions and dimensions. I derived the same letter ratios using circles and lines creating an original construction for each letter. Leading to a new way of communication, communicating through geometry. After creating each letter's construction, I decided to lift the lines that are tangent to the letters which create a more accurate guideline to draw the letters.
